As a board-certified breastfeeding and lactation medication specialist, Dr. Thuet is passionate about helping all new parents meet their feeding goals. She offers the same services as a lactation consultant, with the addition of evidence-based practices and physician-level care to tailor-design a feeding plan in tune with your and your baby’s needs.

At Ella & Allo, we keep things simple. Our practice is self-pay only and doesn’t contract with insurance providers, so your care stays focused where it belongs—on you. With clear, upfront pricing, you’ll always know what to expect and can skip the surprise bills that often follow traditional visits.

Prenatal Consultation

You’ll learn how to prepare for breastfeeding, what supplies to have on hand, and what to expect in the first hours, days and weeks. Additionally, Dr. Thuet will conduct a detailed medical history, evaluate for potential impacts on breastfeeding and lactation success, and provide a targeted feeding plan. She also assists with inducing lactation for adoptive/surrogacy and LGBTQ+ families.

Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine Consultation

Dr. Thuet tailors this visit to the particular needs of the client. Whether you’ve just brought your new baby home or you’re preparing to return to work, Dr. Thuet is here for you at every step in your breastfeeding journey. Together, we can create a feeding plan to address any issue, from nipple pain and low supply to pumping and positioning.

Breast Pump Rental

Ella & Allo offers hospital-grade breast pump rentals for families who need reliable, high-performance equipment — whether you’re building supply, exclusively pumping, or navigating a special circumstance. Dr. Thuet can help you determine if a rental pump is the right fit for your situation.

Sleep Consultations

Sleepless nights don’t have to be the new normal. Dr. Thuet offers personalized sleep consulting for infants and toddlers, starting with a thorough assessment of your child’s sleep needs, history, and challenges. From there, she’ll work with your family to build a realistic, developmentally appropriate sleep plan so everyone in the house can finally get some rest.

Lactation Induction Consultations

Did you know you can breastfeed or provide breastmilk for your baby even if you didn’t carry the pregnancy? Dr. Thuet supports adoptive, surrogacy, and LGBTQ+ families through the lactation induction process, beginning with a comprehensive evaluation of your medical history, goals, and timeline to determine candidacy and develop a personalized protocol.
